1969 Founded Sonics & Material Inc, Michael Patrikios.
1978 American Technology, Inc. (AmTech) was established, becoming the world's first professional ultrasonic metal welding manufacturing factory.
2000 Emerson acquired AMTECH, retaining the AMTECH brand; at the same time, Mike continued to serve as president until 2003.
2003 After 25 years and 14 patents, Mike became the world's outstanding inventor/designer/manufacturer in the field of ultrasonic metal welding equipment and systems.
2007 Mike once again launched a new design of ultrasonic metal welding machine, branded "SONICS".
